The latest Orlando is even safer with a host of chassis refinements to ensure enhanced cornering, reduced body roll characteristics and improved ride feel. Most of Orlando’s body structure is constructed of high strength steel to form an effective passenger safety cage. It will provide protection in the event of a collision to the front, rear or side of the car. Should a collision occur, Orlando’s occupants will be protected by six airbags – dual front, seat side and curtain airbags.

A number of characteristics are instantly recognizable when you climb inside the Chevrolet Orlando such as Chevrolet’s ‘waterfall’ shaped center console and the dual-cockpit cabin. One of the wow factors of the cabin is the ambient blue back-lighting to the centre console which comes with the LT trim level. The Orlando is the latest Chevrolet to use the V-shaped motif inside the steering wheel.

The Orlando has multiple seating combinations: if you’re transporting bulky items you can fold all the rear seats down flat, or just some of them – and so easily that you can do it with one hand. The Orlando obliges with a range of compartments of different shapes and sizes and different locations, including a coin holder and two large cup holders in the center console, map and bottle holders integrated into the front and rear doors, and a number of individual compartments in the cargo area.

Plug in your MP3 player and listen to your favourite tunes through the new Orlando’s elegant, poke-through radio with RDS functionality, six speaker’s and steering-wheel controls as standard. Additional information provided to the driver on the Orlando includes outside temperature, fuel consumption and range and average speed, all contributing to a sense of full control at all times.
