“Zurich. Both the new Chevrolet Aveo* hatchback and the Orlando 7-seat family van have received a top five-star safety rating from the European New Car Assessment Program (EuroNCAP), which released its latest results today.
According to EuroNCAP, the Chevrolet Aveo* hatchback secured 85 out of 100 points, which places it among the very best in its segment. The Chevrolet Orlando family van, too, was awarded EuroNCAP’s highest rating, scoring 80 out of 100 points.
In the key areas of adult and child occupant protection, Chevrolet’s new small car, the Aveo*, achieved 95 and 87 percent of the maximum possible score, respectively. The Chevrolet Orlando also scored 95 percent in adult occupant protection and 79 percent in child occupant protection.
