Chevrolet admits that the Toyota Fortuner is in the crosshairs and for good reason. For years the Toyota Fortuner has had this corner of the market all to itself and understandably, Chevrolet wants to tap into some of that segment. The first thing you’ll notice about the Trailblazer is its size. It’s massive and I’ll admit, maneuvering around in a tight underground parking lot is a daunting task. Thankfully, the park distance control sensors at the rear help immensely. Back to the size and looks.
Many said that it was remarkably similar to its rival, the Toyota Fortuner and while this is meant to be an individual test of the Chev, it’s inevitable that comparisons will be made. I find the Trailblazer an aggressive looking vehicle and in this segment, you want that. There are subtle splashes of chrome and the roofrack/running board combo enhances the aggression.”
