Sportier styling for Chev’s compact
The Chevrolet Aveo that made its début at the Paris Motor show late last year, is set to arrive in South Africa early in 2012 in both hatchback and saloon body shapes.
This second-generation Aveo isn’t a complete revolution of the first gen car. It is, however, larger than the model it replaces and follows the bold styling trend that can be seen on its smaller Spark sibling. The twin headlamps with black surrounds, large split grille, shoulder lines that rise steeply to the rear and chunky fender flares help lend the new Aveo a more aggressive demeanour than its somewhat pedestrian-looking predecessor.
Chevrolet claims that it has upgraded both the exterior and interior to bring “a fresh breath of youth and sportiness to the segment”. Full article on the CAR mag website
